Landgift Landgift at a National 2Day Event, Lockinvar
TRIBUTE TO LANDGIFT
Landgift came to Wattle Creek in 1985 as a 6 week old foal.  Her breeding was Holsteiner warmblood. Landgift lived her whole life at Wattle Creek where she ruled as the "Empress" of her domain.  Over her life time Landgift won State Titles in Eventing and competed at a National Level until she bowed her tendon. Landgift had a foal, Lillygift and she gave 100's of children great pleasure.

Landgift's greatest desire and talent was to jump as high as she could.  Landgift could easily clear a six by six foot spread at ease.

In early July 2005 at nearly 20 years old Landgift's lameness became so acute that I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down.  All who handled or rode Landgift was witness to what a special and gentle horse she was. All at Wattle Creek Riding School will miss her greatly.
